Course Description:
Innovation by leveraging various technologies to come up with viable long-lasting solutions to societal issues
When do you finish?:

Reasons for choosing preferred project:
They say you only connect the dots looking backwards, and for me communications has been my pivot. Therefore, when I saw this vacancy, I knew I should apply and would be the right fit for the position
I am currently a student in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology pursuing Bachelor in Business Innovation Technology Management, looking for an internship.
Over the past year I have been the Public Relations director for the Rotaract Club of JKUAT. This has been an opportunity for me to not only practice my graphic design skills but also delve into the various public relations activities including photography, content creation and currently underway building the website for the club. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Canva are my go to tools when editing. You can find my designs here: https://www.behance.net/inncreator
Naturally, I am an ambitious individual, therefore being in Rotaract was not enough, I have sought other volunteer platforms where I can practice my skills and share my knowledge. For instance, I was a facilitator at a recent three-month training done by Developer Circles from Facebook and Andela, a platform that enabled me to sharpen my HTML/CSS skills and deep dive into JavaScript, especially React. You can find my projects here: https://github.com/InnCreator and my work in progress portfolio here: https://inncreator.netlify.com/
Lastly, I am an active volunteer in the church media team, whereby I manage my local church, CITAM Thika Town, social media pages as well as help in videography during the services. This has been an opportunity for I to not only learn new technical skills but also learn to work in a team.
Thank you for your time and am looking forward to your response.
